Ahhhhhh Melbourne LOVE!!!!!!!!!!

I had a really gorgeous trip! :) We stayed at a very good friends place in Hawthorn, did lots of walking, had some amazing desserts and italian food, and had a great family and friends BBQ in the melbourne twilight :)  I discovered lots and have my top 4 favourite shops to show-n-tell :) I'm very inspired :)

Mac Pelican on Glenferrie Rd, Hawthorn - Full of gorgeous handcrafts, bags, really cute wooden animal clocks etc

Wilkins and Kent on Brunswick St, Fitzroy - Furniture made on site and other gorgeous finds, could have spent all day in here :)

Kami on Brunswick St, Fitzroy - amazing paper and bookarts concept store. I couldn't help buying some things here :)

Spacecraft on Gertrude St, Fitzroy - graphic based artwork, patchwork quilts, plywood furniture :) A table and some cubes would definitely have been purchased if i didn't have a plane to get on.. *sigh*

Land Art - Jim Denevan

I really really love land art. I consider Andy Goldworthy the pioneer, and certainly the best known  Everything that Andy Goldsworthy does is just gorgeous to me. The small intricate leaf based works and his larger stone installations. I could post a new pic everyday of his works!  But recently i discovered the work of Jim Denevan. His large scale works are quite fascinating!! The time and patience required!  Here are a few..

Look at the original wallpaper!!! how cool! I'd def keep the bedroom one - i can imagine it with dark wooden floors and crisp white bedding, white pendant lighting.. :) and that kitchen wallpaper has some attitude!!
